Iran-Uganda Hospital is a Ugandan Health Facility Offering World Class Level Heath Services to Both Local and International patients. The Hospital has a 30-bed capacity and the hospital was funded by the Islamic Republic of Iran and it was inaugurated in the Ugandan state’s capital city of Kampala. Since then, the hospital has been serving millions of patients in the region and continues to do so.

About Iran – Uganda Hospital
The Hospital was commissioned by His Excellency Gen Yoweri Kaguta Museveni the President of Uganda, on October 26, 2017. And in the presence of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Ugandan Foreign Minister Sam Kutesa also attended the ceremony and other many delegates around the world. However, the president Yoweri Museveni, praised the Islamic Republic of Iran for bringing Africa closer to their country than ever before adding that Iran offers big potential as a trade partner with the rest of the African continent. “This is a fact, it is not an opinion and I salute you for that,” he said.
The President continued to encourage the public to use the hospital stating that this is the state-of-the-art medical facility at Naguru Police barracks, Nakawa Division in Kampala that will provide 24/7-hour services not only to the Police personnel but also to wananchi.
The 30-bed facility will provide employment to Ugandans and handle cases in the departments of General medicine, Optical/Eyes, Dental Surgery, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Radiology and Laboratory services, among others.
