Our department of General Medicine is a central clinical unit responsible for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of a broad range of adult illnesses and we have Outpatient clinic, inpatient wards, medical emergency unit, and specialty clinics (diabetes, hypertension, infectious diseases). It serves as the first point of specialized care for patients who do not require surgical intervention. Acts as a hub for patient care, supports other specialties, manages chronic diseases, and provides training and research in teaching hospitals. • Diagnosis and treatment of adult diseases (hypertension, diabetes, infections, respiratory illnesses, etc.). • Emergency and acute care (asthma, stroke, severe infections). • Preventive medicine, screening, and health education. • Long-term follow-up for chronic illnesses.
