The General Surgery department provides operative management for a wide range of conditions both elective and emergency. Provides lifesaving and quality-of-life improving interventions supports multidisciplinary care and contributes to training and research. • Elective surgeries (hernia repair, gallbladder removal, thyroidectomy). • Emergency surgeries (trauma, appendicitis, perforations). • Preoperative and postoperative care. • Outpatient surgical consultations and minor procedures.
